Bloom faster
More opaque
Fixed "one way" smoke

Walk Speed
Changed to be 0.52x of run speed - as in Counter-Strike 1.6

No failboat today.

The site was down all day yesterday due to our webhost having a problem with their PHP config - as you can see it's now been fixed.

In other news, our first ED war in almost a year was a success on Sunday night, seeing [sw] edge past NoAim with 17-13. Plenty more wars booked including one coming up against Armchair Army which should be a good challenge.

We have also welcomed in two new members (but longtime mates!) Bakor & Ross, both ex-BOM members. Already the guys are fitting in very well and I hope they enjoy being part of the 'wave!

Website Performance Issues Resolved

As you all know, the website has not been performing well at all lately, with extremely long page load times all over the place. I originally thought it was because we'd moved to a cheaper provider, but after cloning the website to the RTL space and seeing identical results, I realised something must be at fault with the website itself.

I've made some changes and the site is running much faster for me.

Please try it for yourself and let me know what you think.

Massive CS:S Update Released

Valve pushed out the CS:S Beta to become the defacto CS:S while I was away at Glasto, the cheeky sods. So I've come back to a load of buggered configs on my PC and new things to mess about with. Fortunately Jonny has stepped up and spent a good few hours working with Lee at RTL to make sure our match server runs ok, and during our game last night it seemed alright, although we're having to use new configs to start games etc.

I'll create a thread in the clan forums on the update, and if everyone could pool their knowledge there we should be able to make the transition smoothly. Although there are some bugs, I think the update is for the best as it shows Valve still care about the game, and these things are being continually worked on and improved.

Also all member please note that we have switched to TS3 as Toad has kindly created us a server. The details are on the Servers page (only visible to clan members). Please can all members get this setup and get on there. From what I've seen so far it is very good - much more polished than Mumble, but with equally low latency.
